ASUS has just announced a slew of new business-focused ExpertBook laptops that includes the ExpertBook B1 series, ExpertBook B5, ExpertBook B5 Flip and ExpertBook B9.

ASUS ExpertBook B1

The 14-inch ExpertBook B1400 and 15.6-inch B1500 are powered by up to the latest-generation Intel Core i7 processor with Performance Boost technology for increased performance by tuning the internal thermals.

To intelligently regulate CPU performance, ASUS-exclusive algorithms are paired with up to five smart sensors, an aerodynamic design, and up to a 90-watt power supply.

The ASUS ExpertBook B1 also comes with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 8GB onboard memory, up to 512GB PCIe 3.0 SSD and 1TB HDD. The ExpertBook B1 laptops also have easy access to upgrade the RAM or storage without dismantling the laptop.

Furthermore, the ExpertBook B1 laptops come with Thunderbolt 4 with DisplayPort support, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and USB 2.0 Type-A ports, an HDMI port, Ethernet, a micro SD card slot and an audio combo jack.

There’s also an integrated Kensington Lock slot, making it quick and easy to secure ExpertBook B1 laptops wherever they’re used.

The ExpertBook B1 laptops also have WiFi 6 and ASUS WiFi Master Technology, as well as the ability to connect up to two external 4K UHD screens.

Moreover, the ExpertBook B1400 has an 84%screen ratio, whereas the B1500 has a 90% ratio due to its larger 15.6-inch display. TÜV Rheinland has also approved the display for reduced blue-light emissions.

ASUS also made security one of the main features of the ExpertBook B1 laptops as they come with a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button as well as an optional front webcam with a built-in privacy shield.

The optional Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 used by the ExpertBook B1 securely stores authentication information used by software, such as passwords or encryption keys, to protect important data and transactions.

The ExpertBook B1 also come with MIL-STD 810H US military standard that can withstand harsh environments. ASUS also packed in two-way AI noise-cancelling technology for superior audio performance and conference calls.

ASUS ExpertBook B5 and ExpertBook B5 Flip

The new ExpertBook B5 and ExpertBook B5 Flip laptops are designed for business success in style and come with a 14-hour battery life for worry-free travel.

The ASUS ExpertBook B5 laptops are powered by an up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 8GB of RAM and superfast Intel WiFi 6.

Thunderbolt 4 with USB4 interface, 40 Gbps data transfer speeds, triple 4K monitor output, rapid charging, and USB Type-A and HDMI outputs are all included in the new ExpertBook B5 and ExpertBook B5 Flip laptops.

The ExpertBook B5 and ExpertBook B5 Flip laptops also include wired network access and a unique MAC address, making device management a breeze.

The new ASUS ExpertBook B5 laptops come in both clamshell and convertible flip configurations. The ExpertBook B5 Flip has a 360-degree hinge that allows it to be utilised in a variety of ways, including tent and tablet modes.

The new ExpertBook B5 laptops have more than enough juice to keep working from dawn to night, with up to 14 hours of battery life on a single charge, thanks to energy-efficient Panel Self Refresh technology.

That’s not all as the ExpertBook B5 and ExpertBook B5 Flip laptops also feature fast-charging technology that can charge the battery up to 60% in just 39 minutes.

With the new ExpertBook B5 series, ASUS NumberPad 2.0 is also available as an option. This is a numeric keypad with LED illumination that is ideal for crunching numbers.

The laptops also feature MIL-STD 810H US military standards which can withstand harsh environments such as freezing temperatures to intense heat to high-speed shocks to everyday bumps. Even the keyboard can resist spills and splashes.

As with the ExpertBook B1 laptops, the ExpertBook B5 laptops feature two-way AI noise-cancelling technology, an integrated Kensington Lock slot, an integrated fingerprint sensor, a physical webcam shield and an optional TPM 2.0 chip.

ASUS ExpertBook B9

The ExpertBook B9 is the world’s lightest 14-inch business laptop and features 11th gen Intel Core i7 processor with Iris Xe graphics. There’s also 16GB LDDR4x 4266 MHz onboard memory and ultrafast Intel WiFi 6.

There’s also plenty of storage in the shape of a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD that supports RAID 0 and RAID 1 technologies for better data stability and speed.

ExpertBook B9 is enclosed in a magnesium-lithium-alloy chassis and is very thin and light. The 880g ExpertBook B9 features a 33 Wh battery, while the 1005 g ExpertBook B9 has a 66 Wh battery – all in a 14.9-mm thin profile.

The ExpertBook B9 also features fast-charging support and can top up its hefty battery up to 60% in just 39 minutes.

Despite its thin profile, the ExpertBook B9 is loaded with a slew of I/O ports. There’s Thunderbolt 4 which supports 40 Gbps data transfer speeds, dual 4K display output and fast charging.

It also offers standard USB Type-A and HDMI outputs, plus wired network connectivity with a unique MAC address for easy device management.

The MIL-STD 810H US military standard was used to test the ExpertBook B9 against drop tests, shock testing, vibration tests, extremes of high and low temperatures, and days with humidity levels of 95%. The keyboard is also spill-resistant.

The ExpertBook B9 comes with a 14-inch FHD IPS NanoEdge display with wide 100% sRGB colour gamut. Despite that ASUS manages to include a webcam, an infrared camera and a smart proximity sensor for fast biometric face login too.

The ExpertBook B9 also boasts a virtual assistant with Amazon Alexa connectivity, as well as up to four 360° far-field microphones and Harman Kardon-certified speakers.

The ASUS NumberPad 2.0 is also included with the ExpertBook B9. To turn it on, tap the NumberPad symbol on the top right of the touchpad, and tap the icon on the left to toggle between two brightness settings.

In terms of security, the ExpertBook B9 features an integrated fingerprint sensor, the aforementioned biometric-login webcam with a physical sliding shield and an optional TPM 2.0 chip.
