ROG announced the new ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition in collaboration with the titular artist, DJ and music producer. The special Zephyrus G14 laptop features an 8-core, 16-thread AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU.
The ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition comes with unique colour accents, like the exclusive Spectre Blue shade of the AniMe Matrix LED array.
The overall design of the new Zephyrus G14 has input from Walker including his own signature next to the ROG logo on the nameplate. Two fabric belts along the lid, with one belt using reflective text that blends with the matrix LEDs.
Another cool element included with the ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition is the accessories. It comes bundled ROG Remix sampler as opposed to a normal laptop packaging.
Just plug in the ROG Remix sampler to the Zephyrus G14 (yes the laptop packaging has a USB port!) and play Walker’s own sound effects via conductive pads on the surface. Users can even one of Walker’s tracks or import their own tunes into the custom software, developed with Walker and his team.
The ROG Remix also displays unique ROG and Alan Walker inspired animations on the main screen of the laptop and AniMe Matrix panel based on the MIDI inputs selected.
The laptop even has an Alan Walker wallpaper and a bespoke startup animation. The glass touchpad has a unique design inspired by a music equalisation, as well as keycaps in Alan Walker’s characteristic colours and ‘A’ and ‘W’ keys with the producer’s logo imprinted on top.
To top it off, an Alan Walker and ROG-inspired baseball cap and pair of socks are included, as well as a limited-edition ROG Sleeve.
Now let’s talk about the laptop itself. The ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition features a 14-inch QHD (2560×1440) IPS-level panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also supports Adaptive Sync.
It is also powered by an AMD Ryzen R9-5900HS processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti graphics. It also features 16GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD.
Connectivity-wise, the ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition comes equipped with two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, an HDMI port, a 3.5mmm headphone jack and one Kensington Lock slot.
How much is the ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition and when is it coming?
