It’s always funny to hear, “Can it run Crysis though?” because it was indeed one demanding game that tested PC hardware at its peak. It was also an exciting franchise, if you have played that is. If you haven’t, you can always pick up the Remastered-on Steam but there’s something more exciting than that. Crytek CEO, Avni Yerli confirms that the next Crysis 4 is in the works.
Crysis 4: What We Know

In Late January 2022, Crytek CEO, Avni Yerli wrote a letter on the Crysis blog, sharing that the new Crysis dubbed Crysis 4 is in the works. The game is said to be in its preliminary stages of development – which means it’s going to take a while for us to see anything that they have to showcase really but they are emphasizing on giving what the community wants and will be listening as well.
They did release a teaser for Crysis 4, and we see some impressive texture and a glimpse of the NanoSuit Helmet. But it does seem like Crysis 4 is definitely going to bring back some nostalgia and continuity to the franchise, for the fans and for new gamers to get a taste of what Crysis is really all about. That said, Crytek announced that they will be updating more about it – which we will update here as well.
Hunt: Showdown gets the attention too…

Other than Crysis, Avni said that there will be better things coming for gamers who enjoy Hunt: Showdown. Again, simple sentences, very over-the-surface information but all we can do for now is to just hope for the best.
Again in the meantime, you can pick up the Crysis Remastered which is now available on Steam and if you happen to own the OG Crysis on Steam, you will get a discount on top of the discount that’s going on for Lunar New Year 2022 – which you do not want to miss.
