Fitness wearables are everything these days and Garmin’s approach has been a great one: offering fantastic experience for someone new and existing Garmin fans. That said, Garmin Malaysia has announced their new Garmin Fenix 7 Lineup and on top of that, the Garmin Epix makes its debut in Malaysia as well. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
Garmin Fenix 7 Series

Garmin Fenix is a popular series of smartwatch coming from them as they have always been on the pedestal for being great wearables for fitness users. That said, the Garmin Fenix 7 follows the same footsteps and offers better experience as compared to its predecessor. As always, the Fenix 7 comes in three variants: 7S, 7 and 7X.
The Fenix 7 Series comes equipped with 1.2”, 1.3” or 1.4” MIP depending on which variant you go for, and the outdoor series offers the same kind of ruggedness the Fenix series has always offered for a long time and just makes it a lot better. Plus, it has the patented Solar Panel which we saw with the Fenix 6 and now comes in a better configuration.

The Solar panel is now said to have increased in surface area and optimizes the cell configuration and conductive materials, making it 200x times better than the predecessor, and this is a jaw dropping improvement if you ask us. The power manager function has also been upgraded giving the 7X a whopping 24 days of battery life with UltraTrac Mode. As always, you get every bit of goodness Garmin offers such as: Real-time Stamina Tracking, 40 advanced built-in sports modes and so on.
Garmin Epix

The Garmin Epix is their premium Garmin wearable that just got a second-gen upgrade. The predecessor never made its mark in Malaysia, but the Gen-2 is now here with some impressive features – once again doesn’t fail to impress.
The display on this isn’t the usual LCD or dot-like-display we have seen on the Fenix 7 but now it comes with a built-in AMOLED Display and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal lens, a titanium alloy bezel which looks delicious. On top of that, whatever you see with the Fenix is here as well: like the 40 built in outdoor and indoor sports mode, over 42,000 golf course maps and 2,200 ski resorts from all around the world. Who needs maps at this point?

Now with the AMOLED display, if you are concerned about the battery life, worry not because they have optimized it in a way that: it can continuously record data for 30 hours under GPS Sports Mode, offers a good 16 days of life under Smartwatch mode and finally 21 days if the Power Manager is turned on.
