Following OPPO’s slew of smartphones they have announced in the past, comes the successor to their other lineup – Reno where they are launching new OPPO Reno7 Series for the Malaysian market alongside with some peripherals like OPPO Watch Free and OPPO Enco Air2. Here’s everything you need to know about them.
OPPO Reno7 Series Malaysia
Oppo unveiled two Reno7 Smartphone: The Oppo Reno7 5G and the Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G.
Oppo Reno7 5G

The Reno7 5G is the non-pro among both and has gone through some interesting changes to make it appealing for consumers. That said the phone features a 6.4” FHD 90Hz AMOLED Display and covered in a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, we find a MediaTek Dimensity 900 with 8GB RAM.
It does focus on the camera a lot and gone are those hyped up 4-5 cameras you find on a phone and this retains a dual camera setup with a new Sony IMX sensor comprising of 64MP and a 32MP front facing camera. As for the battery it has 4500 mAh capacity that has been split into two cells for quicker charging capabilities. That paired with the 65W SUPERVOOC Charging, expect it to get you through the day.
Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G

The Pro on the other hand has some slightly better specification as compared to the Reno7 5G with a 6.5” AMOLED Display and 90Hz Refresh Rate for that smooth experience. The processor gets a nice bump to the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 MAX and a whopping 12GB RAM.
The camera on the other hand is a Sony IMX766 Sensor comprising of 50MP for the back and 32MP Sony IMX709 for the front. Once again you see the same battery implementation as the Reno7 with a dual 2250mAh, which totals upto 4500mAh under the hood and pair it with the 65W SuperVOOC – its going to get you to 100 in few minutes.
OPPO Watch Free

The Oppo Watch Free isn’t necessarily the successor to the first Watch we saw from them, but its rather a lite version, hence the Free in its name. That said, it has a rather simple with a 1.64 AMOLED display, detects all the workout related things, with being Swim proof and lasts as long as 14 days. There isn’t much to comment as the Watch Free falls into the band like experience, which gives a limiting experience as compared to the Watch which runs a full-fledged Wear OS under the hood.
OPPO Enco Air2
Enco has been getting some good attention, at least the Enco X which is powered by Dynaudio. The Enco Air2 is kind of like the budget earbuds and the successor to the original Enco Air. It has a 13.4” Driver, with a 24 Hours of listening time and is as light as 3.5g. The Binaural Low-latency with Bluetooth 5.2 helps the connectivity to be as stable as possible which is good.
