During The Elder Scrolls Online 2022 Global Reveal Stream, they showcased their new world for the online game, The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle, a completely new chapter that will be launching later this year and here’s what we know so far about it.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Legacy of the Bretons
The Legacy of the Bretons is the studio’s next year-long adventure which will take its player to Systres Archipelago, a new region that consists of islands inspired by the Mediterranean Sea where new mysterious threats will be uncovered and also get to take a dive at the history and culture of a noble chivalric people. This will be released along side with the upcoming DLC, The Elder Scrolls Online: Ascending Tide and The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle Chapter.
The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle
This is their biggest release of the year, where it will be progressing along with the ongoing Legacy of the Bretons storyline and will be giving about 30 hours of unique story content. This new chapter will be diving into Breton’s ancient home and experience a society that’s on the brink of a war. You will also get to experience and try features like:
- A new zone that showcases the islands of High Isle and Amenos
- A complex main storyline of politics, honor, and intrigue that ties into the Legacy of the Bretons year-long saga
- A new system called Tales of Tribute, an in-game collectible card game
- A new 12-player Trial named Dreadsail Reef
- Two new Companions, Ember and Isobel, who can join your adventures
- New World Events called Fissures
- New Delves, Public Dungeons, World Bosses, and a host of unique stand-alone quests
- Updates and quality of life improvements
The Elder Scrolls Online: Ascending Tides
This DLC on the other hand will be the first Dungeon DLC for this year which will consist of two challenging new PvE dungeons: The Coral Aerie and Shipwright’s Regret. The 4 player PvE activity will allow players to investigate the remnants of the All Flags Navy and even assaulting a costal hideout of the mysterious Ascendant Order.
Release Dates
The Ascending Tide will be released on March 14th for PC/Mac and Stadia and March 29th for Xbox and PlayStation whereas the High Isle Chapter will be releasing on June 6th for PC/Mac and Stadia and consoles will be getting it on the 21st June of 2022.
