The name ROG goes synonymously with gaming and over the past few years, we have seen the brand heading into a direction no other brand has done before, that is incorporating the gaming brand into a lifestyle brand. That said, this time around, ROG Malaysia is launching their two new backpack which will be sold separately and no bundles necessary. It’s the ROG Ranger BP2701 and ROG Archer Backpack.
ROG Ranger BP2701 Gaming Backpack
While every gaming-centric peripheral and accessory seems to look heavy, not just in terms of looks but feel as well, the ROG Ranger BP2701 Gaming Backpack isn’t one of them. In fact, it’s a lightweight and durable 22-liter backpack that can fit up to a 17-inch laptop easily. Given that what we carry in bags can be expensive, the material these bags are made up of is water-repellent and scratch resistant.
In terms of features, it has some thoughtful touch like a reflective surface, for when if you do walk on a pavement, when a car headlight shines, the reflective surface will help a lot with that. The bag is made from durable high-strength polyester and weighs about 0.93kg, keeping things easier on the move.
There’s a large, padded pouch that holds a laptop up to 17-inch that can be accessed from the side zipper with few pockets to hold a keyboard, mouse and mouse pad, headset, charger, and other gears of your choice. You do get some pockets for quick access stuff which is neat. As for comfort, you have some mesh-covered back pads for support and adjustable padded Lycra shoulder straps with a chest strap.
When we do get to travel back again, the bag luggage strap helps you keep things manageable.

The ROG Archer goes further by offering Cordura 610D fabric construction for durability and water-repellent, made with YKK zippers and Duraflex buckles for longevity. On the back, it has an Ultra-breathable High Molecular Weight Polyethylene which keeps things comfortable even on hot days.
