Epson has just launched their latest 4K resolution home theatre laser projector, the EH-LS12000B.

The EH-LS12000B is specially designed to give immersive big-screen entertainment for movie evenings and competitive gaming, and it promises to dazzle with ultra-rich detailing and brilliant colours to replicate the ultimate larger-than-life cinematic experience from home.

The EH-LS12000B has up to 8.3M pixels, allowing consumers to watch movies in high definition in the comfort of their own homes in a dedicated home theatre setup. The projector features a new 4K image processing chip that delivers 4K resolution providing users with vivid, high-quality, and distortion-free images.

Not only does this model have HDR10+ High Dynamic Range for more details and depth, as well as natural and richer colours, but its HDMI 2.1 port connectivity and low input lag time of under 20ms means gamers will be enthused by 4K resolution that supports up to 120fps.

This allows for precise display reaction times to support a wide range of gaming and entertainment applications and devices, including the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

With a brightness of 2,700 lumens colour/white brightness, the EH-LS12000B’s 3LCD technology delivers rich, balanced, and true-to-life colours, while the HDR10+ High Dynamic Range emphasises dynamic detail without rainbow effect for a comfortable home watching experience.

The EH-LS12000B, which supports Calman calibration solutions, is capable of delivering high levels of colour accuracy. The Scene Adaptive Gamma setting, which raises contrast levels to improve the luminance of the brightest white and darkest black without overexposure, is also included.

This model, which is powered by a laser light source rather than a standard bulb, is designed to be extremely long-lasting and maintenance-free for up to 20,000 hours while producing less exhaust heat and consuming less electricity for energy efficiency.

The projector also features 2.1x optical zoom, powered focus, and motorised lens shift. In addition, the EH-LS12000B comes with Epson’s own patented front exhaust design as well as a wider lens shift that allows for installations on shelves or spaces that are not perfectly aligned against the wall or projection screen.
