POCO has just launched the new POCO F4 GT, their latest flagship smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor together with POCO Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition and POCO Watch – the first-ever AIoT products from the brand.

POCO F4 GT

The POCO F4 GT is pretty much a rebranded Redmi K50 Gaming released for the global market as the Redmi device is currently exclusive to the Chinese market and as such the specifications are very much identical.

Apart from the aforementioned Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, the POCO F4 GT sports a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED that supports HDR+10 with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. The POCO F4 GT also comes packed with up to LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.

To combat the heat generated during intense gaming sessions, the POCO F4 GT features the latest LiquidCool Technology 3.0 and its 4,860mm² dual VC cooling system. Further accentuating the POCO F4 GT’s gaming features, the device also includes magnetic pop-up triggers on its shoulders.

In the camera department, the POCO F4 GT touts a triple camera setup. This includes a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. As for selfies, the device comes equipped with a 20MP front camera.

POCO F4 GT also includes a 4,700mAh battery with support for 120W HyperCharge which can fully charge the device in just 27 minutes. Other features found on the POCO F4 GT include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and WiFi 6E and Android 12 out of the box.

The POCO F4 GT comes in two configurations; 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB and retails for RM2,299 and RM2,499 respectively. There are also three colour variants to choose from which include Stealth Black, Knight Silver, and Cyber Yellow.

The POCO F4 GT can be purchased through the official POCO stores on Shopee and Lazada. POCO F4 GT will be available for purchase for an early bird pricing of RM 1,999 and RM 2,199 for two models for a limited time beginning 28th April.

POCO Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition

POCO Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition, one of POCO’s first AIoT products, employs artificial intelligence to automatically alter noise-cancelling settings based on the surrounding noise level and the user’s daily activity. With powerful AI algorithms, each earbud can give crisp and clear audio even in the loudest situations during calls.

The 9mm composite dynamic driver ensures that the user has access to both professional-level sound processing as well as the most realistic and detailed sound.

When the earphones are removed, the in-ear detection feature pauses audio. The device is also IPX4 water-resistant, meaning it will not be damaged by rain, sweat, or splashes.

The charging case for the POCO Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition may last up to 28 hours, and the buds can be charged in 10 minutes. And the charging case can be charged wirelessly as well, while the earbuds can be charged in roughly an hour. The earbuds can also connect to two devices, allowing users to switch between sources with ease.

POCO Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition will be priced at RM299, with a limited early bird price of RM259. POCO Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition will be available from 28th April at official POCO retailers on Shopee and Lazada.

POCO Watch

POCO Watch is the brand’s first-ever smartwatch and comes in a variety of distinct colours. The smartwatch also comes with a 1.6-inch AMOLED touch display and an ultra-slim bezel that comes with more than 100 customisable watch faces.

The POCO Watch is also a good choice for fitness nuts as it comes with Multi-system GPS that’s useful during runs or hikes as well as more than 100 exercise modes installed.

It can also identify when a user is doing various activities like as running on a treadmill or going for a walk outside. POCO Watch checks blood oxygen levels during sleep in conjunction with the sleep monitoring function. The POCO Watch also features a battery life of up to 14 days.

POCO Watch will be priced at RM299, with a limited time early bird discount of RM249. POCO Watch will be available from 28th April at official POCO retailers on Shopee and Lazada.
