Acer has just revealed the new Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition that is capable of producing stereoscopic 3D imagery without the need for 3D glasses. In addition, Acer also revealed the Predator Triton 300 SE slim gaming laptop, as well as the Predator XB273K LV and Acer Nitro XV272U RV game displays.

Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition

The new Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition laptop comes with the SpatialLabs TrueGame application that allows for games to be played in “3D mode”. SpatialLabs uses the 3D information already present in most games and projects them in stereoscopic 3D.

The Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition also uses a combination of eye-tracking technology, a stereoscopic 3D display and real-time rendering to make 3D gaming possible on the Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition laptop.

Now on to the specs of the Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition itself. The laptop is powered by up to 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPUs, 32GB DDR5-4800 memory and PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSDs RAID 0 storage.

The Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition also features a 15.6-inch UHD 2D panel with a liquid crystal lenticular lens optically bonded. The display is also capable of switching back and forth between 2D and stereoscopic 3D views.

Other specs included with the Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition are Windows 11, Killer DoubleShot Pro, WiFi 6E, an HDMI 2.1 port, a Thunderbolt 4 port and two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports.

The Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition will be available in North America in early Q4 for USD3,399.99 and in Europe in September for EUR3,299.

Predator Triton 300 SE

The Predator Triton 300 SE has been refreshed to include 12th Gen Intel Core processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series Laptop GPUs, and 16:10 OLED panel options.

Acer also includes a 16-inch version with up to 240Hz WQXGA panels and supports NVIDIA G-SYNC and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus. The laptop also features custom-engineered 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans, Vortex Flow airflow guidance technology and liquid metal thermal grease for optimal cooling.

The 14- and 16-inch variants both feature Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1675i, with the 16-inch adding an Intel Killer E2600 Ethernet controller for wired connections. Other than that, both versions of the Predator Triton 300 SE include Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports.

The 14-inch Predator Triton 300 SE will be available in North America in July, with prices beginning at USD1,599.99 and in Europe in June, with prices beginning at EUR1,499. The 16-inch Predator Triton 300 SE will be available in North America in August for USD1,749.99 in Europe in July for EUR1,599 and in China in July for RMB10,999.

Predator XB273K LV Gaming Monitor

The Predator XB273K LV gaming monitor touts a 27-inch UHD Agile-Splendor IPS panel with a 160Hz refresh rate and a 0.5 ms response time. It also offers AMD FreeSync and HDMI 2.1, as well as outstanding colour accuracy with a Delta E 1 and is VESA DisplayHDR 600 and TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe-certified.

The Predator XB273K LV will be available in North America in Q3 for USD999, in EMEA for EUR949, and in China for RMB5,999.

Acer Nitro XV272U RV Gaming Monitor

The WQHD resolution, 170Hz refresh rate (overclocked), 1ms response time (G to G), and low glare panel of the 27-inch Acer Nitro XV272U RV game monitor.

It is VESA DisplayHDR 400-certified, and its Agile-Splendor IPS panel with a Delta E of 1 supports 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The Acer Nitro XV272U RV gaming monitor is TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe-certified and supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology.

The Acer Nitro XV272U RV will be available in Q3 North America for USD449, in EMEA for EUR399 and in China for RMB2,499.
