Acer has announced new updates for their creator-focused ConceptD laptops and desktops including a new 16-inch model. The latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GPUs are now available in the ConceptD 5 laptops, ConceptD 500 tiny workstation, and ConceptD 100 small form factor desktop.

ConceptD 5 and ConceptD 5 Pro Laptops

The ConceptD 5 and ConceptD 5 Pro laptops have been updated with up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H processor and powerful NVIDIA RTX and GeForce RTX Laptop GPUs; the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU is available on CN516-73G models, while the more powerful NVIDIA RTX A5500 GPU is found on Pro variants (CN516-73P).

They also come with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 SDRAM and up to 2TB of NVMe PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSD storage.

Both laptops have a sophisticated thermal design with strategically positioned air intake and exhaust vents that create an aerodynamic “Vortex Flow” within the device, while three cooling fans keep noise levels under 40 dBA.

Both laptops are a collaboration between Acer and NVIDIA allowing for full access to NVIDIA Studio on both laptops.

This is ideal for artists and designers because both the ConceptD 5 laptops offer software improvements and pre-installed NVIDIA Studio Drivers for improved performance and reliability in leading creative apps.

NVIDIA tools, such as NVIDIA Omniverse for 3D editing and collaboration, NVIDIA Broadcast for live streaming, and NVIDIA Canvas for AI-assisted landscape painting, are also available to users of the laptops.

The ConceptD laptops come with an optional WQUXGA 400-nit OLED display with a 16:1.0 aspect ratio and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, PANTONE Matching System (PMS) Colors, HDR capability and Delta E<2 colour calibration.

The ConceptD 5 laptops include a slew of connectivity ports including HDMI 2.1, an SD 7.0 card reader, Thunderbolt 4 and USB Type-C ports.

The ConceptD 5 laptop (CN516-73G) will be available in North America beginning in August for USD2,499.99 and in EMEA beginning in June for EUR2,399. In September, the ConceptD 5 Pro laptop (CN516-73P) will be available in EMEA for EUR2,599.
