ASUS has announced two new ExpertBook laptops; the ASUS ExpertBook B3 Flip and the ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable. The ExpertBook B3 Flip is the second 2-in-1 laptop that the company released today after the ASUS ExpertBook B7 Flip.
ASUS ExpertBook B3 Flip
The new ASUS ExpertBook B3 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop that can switch between laptop mode and tablet mode. The ASUS ExpertBook B3 Flip is powered by up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and touts the Intel Iris Xe graphics. It also comes with onboard memory and SO-DIMM of up to 48GB.
The ASUS ExpertBook B3 Flip touts a 14-inch FHD IPS display that’s also a touchscreen with stylus support. The display is TÜV Rheinland-certified and it also comes with a 360° hinge as it is a convertible 2-in-1 laptop. There’s also WiFI 6 present with ASUS WiFi Master technology and 4G LTE nano-SIM support.
The ASUS ExpertBook B3 Flip also comes with a stylus that can be stored via a built-in holder. The holder can also charge the stylus and can give the stylus 45 minutes of usage time with just a 15-second charge. The ASUS ExpertBook B3 Flip comes with two webcams; an HD camera and a 13MP camera located on the keyboard just under the display.
The ASUS ExpertBook B3 Flip also comes with MIL-STD 810H US military standard for extra durability and is protected with ASUS Antibacterial Guard antibacterial treatment.
ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable
The ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable is another 2-in-1 laptop offering from the company but instead of a 360° hinge, the laptop features a detachable design with ExpertStand, a dual-orientation stand and cover. The ExpertBook B3 Detachable also comes with the ExpertBoard keyboard.
The ExpertBook B3 Detachable comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 Compute Platform under its hood. The processor is an energy-efficient one that helps provide a long battery life. The laptop also comes with Windows 11 out of the box and has up to 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB eMMC storage.
The ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable also comes with a 10.5-inch WUXGA display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and is TÜV Rheinland-certified. The laptop also features a stylus similar to the ASUS ExpertBook B3 Flip that can be stored via its built-in holder. It can also provide 45 minutes of usage with just a 15-second charge.
There’s also a 13MP webcam, Bluetooth 5.1 and is treated with ASUS Antibacterial Guard.
Price and availability
The ASUS ExpertBook B3 Flip will be priced from RM4,499 while the ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable will retail from RM2,099. Both devices are set to be available from mid-August and late-July 2022 respectively. Do check with your local retailers for availability.
