Lazada Malaysia and the Malaysian Pharmacists Society (MPS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to allow consumers to shop online safely, confidently, and conveniently for medicine, vitamins, health supplements, and medical supplies by using MPS verification of online pharmacies and health category sellers on Lazada Malaysia.

This strategic alliance will pave the road toward realising the vision of an eCommerce ecosystem built on customer trust, while also raising awareness about the significance of purchasing verified quality medical and health items from trusted merchants.
MPS will grant verification to official flagship stores on LazMall – the authenticated online destination – as well as verified health category dealers on Lazada Marketplace. Through the shopping platform, consumers may identify authorised online pharmacies by looking for the ‘MPS Verified Certification’ displayed on their storefront.
The MPS Verified Certification will also provide value to online pharmacies, providing them with a competitive edge in establishing themselves as reliable and trusted health care providers. It would also increase their company’s consumer touchpoints by allowing offline clients to access their official online businesses on the eCommerce platform.
The selection of pharmaceutical items offered by online pharmacies will be promoted under ‘LazHealth’ – a trusted one-stop-shop on the Lazada Malaysia app enabling users to shop online safely, confidently, and easily for certified health and wellness products.
