Luno has launched its newest campaign today called ‘Move with Luno’. The new campaign aims to empower and educate Malaysians on the importance of digital assets and investing as part of financial literacy. The campaign also aims to quell misinformation regarding cryptocurrencies.

New ‘Move with Luno’ campaign launched

The campaign was launched by Yang Berhormat Dato’ Indera Mohd Shahar bin Abdullah, Deputy Minister of Finance I and David Low, General Manager, APAC, Luno.

The ‘Move with Luno’ initiatives have been specifically created to suit the growing demand for digital assets, from individuals wishing to begin their investment journey to crypto newbies looking to expand their education and awareness of digital assets.

Some of the ‘Move with Luno’ initiatives include:

  • Luno App in Bahasa Melayu – Luno is set to localise its app to Bahasa Malaysia and will roll out the update in stages.
  • Localised content – In addition to rolling out its application in Bahasa Malaysia, Luno will also put out localised content resources for all Malaysians.
  • More digital asset options – Luno also introduced two new tokens on its platform recently; Chainlink (LINK) and Uniswap (UNI). This brings the total of approved digital assets to seven. Luno also revealed that Malaysians have already traded more than RM7 million worth of these new digital assets over the past few days.

In corroboration with the ‘Move with Luno’ campaign, Luno has appointed Malaysian Olympic diver, Pandelela Renong and Malaysian footballer, Mohamad Zaquan Adha as brand ambassadors. Following the beginning of the campaign, Luno will gradually roll out more educational initiatives in order to engage and educate more Malaysians.

The campaign will include on-ground educational tours to increase awareness of digital assets and investment, localised Luno Academy online learning courses on cryptocurrencies, and discussion starters on financial wellness to reach Malaysians from diverse regions around Malaysia.
