POCO has just unveiled two new flagship smartphones, the POCO F4 and the POCO X4 GT. Both smartphones are set to release this month on both Shopee and Lazada.

POCO F4

The new POCO F4 is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset and comes with 5G capability.  It also comes with a 3,112mm² vapour chamber and LiquidCool Technology 2.0 to help bring temperatures down during intense usage. There’s also up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The POCO F4 touts a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate and screen peak brightness of 1,300 nits, all encased in Gorilla Glass 5. It also comes with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos verification.

As for the camera, the POCO F4 comes equipped with a triple camera setup which includes a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. Some of the camera features packed into the POCO F4 include OIS, Panoramic Selfie Mode, Night Mode, AI Skyscaping 4.0 and AI Erase 2.0. It also comes with a 20MP selfie camera.

The POCO F4 also comes with a 4,500mAh battery with 67W turbo charging that can charge the device fully in just 38 minutes. POCO also says that when fully charged, the POCO F4 can last up to 10 hours of gaming, 21 hours of video playback and 119 hours of music playback.

The POCO F4 also employs Middle Middle Tab (MMT) technology, a rapid charging method that divides electric currents into two separate paths for increased charging speed and stability.

POCO X4 GT

The new POCO X4 GT on the other hand comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC under the hood. Similar to the POCO F4, the POCO X4 GT also comes with LPDDR5 RAM (up to 8GB) and UFS 3.1 storage (up to 256GB). The device also comes with LiquidCool Technology 2.0 to keep the phone cool.

The POCO X4 GT sports a 6.6-inch LCD display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, up to 270Hz touch sampling rate and DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, all protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The device also comes with dual stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos.

As for the cameras, the POCO X4 GT also comes with a triple camera setup with a 64GB main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The main difference is that the POCO X4 GT does not come with OIS. At the front is a 16MP selfie camera.

The POCO X4 GT has a 5,080mAh battery and 67W turbo charging that can fully charge the device in just 46 minutes. The POCO X4 GT also comes with Middle Middle Tab (MMT) technology for safe and stable charging.

Price and availability

The POCO F4 will retail for RM1,599 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and RM1,699 for the 8GB+256GB variant. There will be three colour options; Moonlight Silver, Night Black and Nebula Green. The device is set to release on 27th June and will be sold exclusively on Shopee.

As for the POCO X4 GT, it will retail for RM1,499 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and RM1,599 for the 8GB+256GB variant. There will be three colours to choose from; Black, Blue and Silver. The device will be available for purchase starting from 30th June and will be sold exclusively on Lazada.
