ASUS have announced the Malaysian pricing and hardware configurations for the ROG Flow X13, ROG Zephyrus Duo 16, ROG Zephyrus G15, and ROG Zephyrus G14 laptops. The announced specifications include AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processors, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPUs, and AMD Radeon RX 6000S Series graphics.
ROG Flow X13
The new ROG Flow X13 includes an AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU. It also includes a touchscreen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and features both 4K 60Hz and 1080p 120Hz options. The ROG Flow X13 also has a 360° hinge that users can utilise.
The new ROG Flow X13 features an ultra-slim and ultra-light body that somehow manages to still fit in a full keyboard with 1.7mm of key travel, as well as a wide port selection including HDMI, USB Type-A and Type-C. The ROG Flow X13 also features ASUS’ XG Mobile interface for connecting external GPUs.
The new XG Mobile 2022 comes equipped with the AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT, DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, multiple USB ports and an ethernet port, allowing for a powerful desktop-like performance when connected to the new ROG Flow X13.
ROG Zephyrus Duo 16
The new ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 6980HX CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX
3080 Ti laptop GPU at 150W with Dynamic Boost and MUX switch. It also comes with an upgraded Liquid Metal Conductonaut Extreme that helps decrease CPU temps by 15 degrees compared to conventional thermal pastes.
As with the previous generations, the new ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 comes with a secondary display called the ScreenPad Plus. The ScreenPad Plus adds more screen real estate to help with users’ productivity, streaming gameplay, or even
controlling supported games like Dying Light 2.
The new laptops also come with two display options. The first option, the ROG Nebula HDR is an updated version of ROG’s Nebula Display but with 512 Mini LED dimming zones and can reach a peak brightness of 1100 nits. The display is a QHD display that comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio with a 165Hz refresh rate and is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified.
The second option is an ROG-exclusive display called a Dual Spec panel that can switch between 4K 120Hz and Full HD 240Hz. It also has Pixel Acceleration Technology that ensures fast upscaling in the Full HD mode.
Other specs include ROG’s NumberPad technology, a keyboard with 1.7mm of travel and per-key RGB, six speakers with Dual Force-Cancelling Woofers, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res audio, two-way AI Noise Cancellation and comes with Windows 11 on board.
ROG Zephyrus G14 and G15
The new ROG Zephyrus G14 comes with Windows 11 on board, an AMD Ryzen 9 Series processor and AMD Radeon RX 6000S Series mobile GPUs with a MUX switch. It also features DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD.
The G14 also comes with ROG’s Nebula display which offers 120 Hz at QHD with 500 nits of peak brightness, 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a 3 ms response time. It also has a 16:10 aspect ratio as well as Dolby Vision, Adaptive-Sync, and Pantone validation.
The G14 also includes a Prismatic Logo nameplate with a holographic, reflective hue. The AniMe Matrix display on the lid also includes 1,449 mini LEDs, more than last year’s model.
As for the ROG Zephyrus G15, it comes equipped with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS, sports up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU, a dedicated MUX Switch for increased graphics performance, as well as DDR5 4800Mhz memory and Wi-Fi 6E support.
