At long last, ATLUS and Xbox are bringing the beloved RPG Persona 5 Royal to PC on Xbox Game Pass. Announced during last night’s Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022, P5R will be released alongside Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden.

Persona 5 Royal is coming to Xbox Game Pass with Persona 3 Portable

Persona 5 Royal is considered one of the best RPGs and one of the best games of all time. This also marks the first time the game has been released on other platforms after being exclusive on the PS4 since its release. This is also the first time Persona 3 Portable is getting a PC release.

This should come as no surprise as ATLUS’ Persona 4 Golden has been out on Steam for a couple of years already and the PC port proved to be quite a hit, especially with Persona fans. I, myself, bought the game on the day of its release and had a huge blast playing it, reliving my PS2 days.

Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable are coming to Xbox Game Pass on 21st October 2022. Whether or not ATLUS will be releasing both P5R and P3P on Steam remains to be seen. I do think it’s only a matter of time though, seeing that Persona 4 Golden is on Steam. P5R’s sequel, Persona 5 Strikers is also available on Steam.

All three games are the enhanced versions of the original games and come with extra game content including new characters, stories, maps and more. So essentially, these three games will offer the best playing experience to all players.

I’m absolutely stoked to see not one, but two of my favourite games of all time finally make their way to PC. I spent more than a hundred hours on the original Persona 5 and another hundred plus hours on Persona 5 Royal. Persona 3 Portable was also my introduction to the Persona franchise, so the game also holds a special place in my heart.
