Xiaomi has just announced that their new Redmibook 15 laptop is coming to Malaysia this 6th June. The Intel-powered laptop is the company’s first Redmi-branded laptop to be officially launched here.
The Redmibook 15 comes in two variants; one with an 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor and one with an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-11300H processor. The i3 model has an internal storage of 256GB while the i5 model has a 512GB NVMe PCIe storage. Both models come with 8GB DDR4 RAM.
In terms of graphics, the i3 model features Intel UHD graphics under the hood while the i5 model comes with Intel iris Xe. The Redmibook 15 also sports a 15.6-inch FHD display that supports DC Dimming. The laptop also runs Windows 11 Home, features a large 126 x 82.6 mm touchpad and a 46Whr battery that can last up to 10 hours per charge.
Other features included with the Redmibook 15 are dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, I/O ports including USB 3.0, HDMI 1.4, a Realtek RTS5176 Card Reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also a 720p webcam onboard together with two 20W speakers tuned by DTS.
Redmibook 15 price and availability
The Redmibook 15 will be launching in Malaysia this 6th June and will retail at RM2,399 for the i3 model and RM2,799 for the i5 model. Both i3 and i5 models will have early bird promo prices of RM1,899 and RM2,499 respectively from 6th to 30th June. The laptop is available in a Charcoal Gray design.
The Redmibook 15 will be available for purchase at all Authorized Xiaomi stores and official Xiaomi stores on Shopee and Lazada. Moreover, those who purchase the laptop at Authorized Xiaomi stores will receive a Mi Casual Backpack worth RM69 for free (while stocks last).
