Sony recently announced their new line of 2022 BRAVIA XR TVs which include the X95K 4K Mini LED models, MASTER Series A80K 4K OLED models, and X90K 4K LED models.

The new Sony BRAVIA XR TVs are powered by the Cognitive Processor XR and tout the XR Backlight Master Drive to control the Mini LED backlight. The TVs also include Acoustic Surface Audio+ for OLED models and Acoustic Multi-Audio for LED models that matches the sounds to the position of the images for a more immersive experience.

Sony has also partnered with Netflix for the new Sony BRAVIA XR TVs, releasing Netflix Adaptive Calibrated Mode that can automatically adjust the image processing based on the viewers’ ambient lighting. There’s also Sony’s new BRAVIA CORE Calibrated Mode that helps adjust the image quality automatically.

Additionally, the new TVs will feature the ‘Perfect for PlayStation 5’ designation as the line will come with features exclusive to the PS5. These features include Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode.

Sony also released a new accessory called the BRAVIA CAM in tandem with the new TVs. When viewers are no longer in front of the TV, the BRAVIA CAM can detect this and dim the display to save energy.
