Bethesda has just announced that the latest chapter of their popular MMO, The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle is out now on PC. ESO’s latest chapter is also set to release on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, however, it will release a little later on 21st June.
What’s The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle about?
The new chapter of ESO is all about political intrigue. The lands of High Isle are an ideal retreat for alliance delegates seeking to conclude the Three Banners War through peace talks. While the noble Society of the Steadfast is hosting the summit, players should be wary of The Ascendant Order and their chaotic motives.
ESO players will discover an island paradise steeped in mediaeval culture and architecture, complete with magnificent castles and exciting tournament grounds.
The Systres Archipelago, a previously unexplored region, is inspired by the Mediterranean’s beautiful, windswept shores. High Isle is the stunning world of the Bretons, descendants of both humans and elves. The social elite resides in Gonfalon Bay’s feudalistic society, which serves as the focal point for all political dealings on High Isle.
In this new chapter, players will also meet two new companions. Ember, a Khajiit who grew up on the streets and has a talent for magic, and Isobel, a Breton and aspiring knight who feels called to do right by players.
There’s also a new in-game card game coming to The Elder Scrolls Online called Tales of Tribute. The card game will feature both PvP and PvE modes and players can build up their rank through the card game’s own levelling system.
There are also rewards to be unlocked, such as furniture, transmute stones, and even progressing a storyline by competing against specific NPCs around the world.
