Canon has announced a new compact photo printer with the Canon SELPHY CP1500. This new wireless compact photo printer is fun and easy to use and is capable of producing personalised, high-quality prints.
Canon SELPHY CP1500 is all about fun
The SELPHY CP1500 uses a dye sublimation technology that produces smoother colour tones and richer gradations on its photo prints. It also features an automatic correction function that can adjust an image’s brightness, saturation, contrast and tones automatically thus creating a sharper and clearer end result.
A unique topcoat finish is used at the end of the printing process to protect the photo from water, grime, colour fading, and even fingerprints. Canon says that the photo printed can last up to 100 years when kept in a photo album.
The CP1500 even lets users personalise their photos with various filters, patterns and QR codes through the SELPHY Photo Layout 3.0 app available for both Android and iOS devices. Up to eight different smartphones can be connected to the printer at a single time.
The CP1500 can be connected straight from a user’s smartphone through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth or by directly inserting an SD card or USB flash drive. The printer can print either postcard sized (100 x 148 mm) or card-size (54 x 86 mm) prints in 41 seconds and 23 seconds respectively.
The SELPHY CP1500 is available in either black or white colours. At the time of writing, Canon Malaysia has not revealed the price or the availability details of the printer yet. Be sure to check out your nearest retailer or stay tuned to us at The Adventures of Vesper.
