HUAWEI recently launched several new products during their recent APAC Smart Office Launch 2022. Among the products launched include the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro, HUAWEI MatePad Pro 11, HUAWEI MateBook 16s, HUAWEI MateBook D 16 and HUAWEI MateView SE.
HUAWEI MateBook X Pro
The new HUAWEI MateBook X Pro is a certified Intel EVO laptop and is powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1260P processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics. There’s also 16GB LPDDR5 memory on board together with 1TB of NVMe PCIe SSD storage.
The MateBook X Pro touts a 14.2-inch LTPS touchscreen with a 3120 × 2080 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and a 3:2 aspect ratio. Dubbed the “Real Colour FullView Display”, the MateBook X Pro’s display is also the world’s first Eye Comfort 3.0 certification by TÜV Rheinland.
The MateBook X Pro also comes with a Super Device feature that allows users to easily connect other HUAWEI devices to the laptop ie phones, earbuds and more. The MateBook X Pro is also encased in a full-CNC unibody design made from light and strong magnesium alloys and it weighs just 1.26kg. The MateBook X Pro is available in Ink Blue colour.
HUAWEI MatePad Pro 11
The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 11 is an 11-inch tablet with an OLED Real Color HUAWEI FullView Display, a screen-to-body ratio of 92%, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is the first TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display 3.0-certified tablet in the world. The tablet is also the first tablet to come with HUAWEI SOUND.
The MatePad Pro 11 is a tablet that has multi-tasking as one of its forefronts. Features such as Multi-Window the feature make multi-tasking easier for users and the 1.5 mm detachable HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard and new HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd generation) allows for users to switch between a tablet and laptop-like experience.
The new HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd generation) is available in a fresh white colour, preserving the hardware capabilities of its predecessor while vastly improving its aesthetic, materials, and writing experience. Working with HUAWEI Notes effectively allows users to have a more professional and integrated experience when creating content to their taste.
HUAWEI MateBook D 16 and Matebook 16s
The HUAWEI MateBook D 16 is the newest member of the MateBook D series. It has a stunning 16-inch display, a slim and lightweight design with 18.4 mm thickness, and weighs only 1.7 kg.
It is the first laptop equipped with the HUAWEI Metaline Antenna, which increases signal conversion rate by 56% and enables high-speed Internet access. The laptop includes cutting-edge Intel Core H series processor capabilities such as Super Device, Fingerprint Power Button, and quick charging.
The HUAWEI MateBook 16s is powered by Intel Core i7-12700H and features a vast 16-inch 2.5K touchscreen, an average ΔE<1 high colour accuracy and a 1080p AI camera.
HUAWEI MateView SE
The HUAWEI MateView SE is a monitor that’s built for either work or study and sports a 23.8-inch display with a 92% screen-to-body ratio. One of its interesting features is that it has an eBook Mode which produces an ink-on-paper effect to make long-term editing and reading easier for users.
The screen has TÜV Rheinland low blue light and flicker-free certifications and the first-ever low visual fatigue certification issued by SGS. The monitor also comes with an Adjustable Swivel Stand Edition that supports pivot rotation from 0° to 90° vertical pivot 0mm to 110mm up and down height adjustment, -5° to 18° pitch angle adjustment and VESA wall mounting.
Price and availability
So far the only products that will be available in Malaysia currently are the HUAWEI MateBook D 16 and Matebook 16s. These two laptops are priced from RM3,999 and RM6,799 with freebies worth more than RM1,000 and RM1,700, respectively. Both laptops are available to pre-order until the 5th of August.
