Microsoft has released the new Surface Laptop Go 2 in Malaysia. The new Surface laptop is the latest addition to Microsoft’s Surface line and comes with updated specs and features as well as carrying the line’s signature premium design.
Under the hood lies an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor and Intel Iris Xe graphics. There’s also up to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM inside paired with up to 256GB SSD storage. The Surface Laptop Go 2 also touts a 12.4-inch PixelSense touch display with a 3:2 as[etc ratio, an HD camera and Omnisonic Speakers with Dolby Audio Premium.
It comes with a range of connectivity ports including a USB Type-C port, a USB Type-A port, a Surface Connect port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There’s also WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 on board as well as a battery life rated for up to 13.5 hours of use with support for fast charging. There’s also Windows 11 included out of the box.
Surface Laptop Go 2 price and availability
The Surface Laptop Go 2 will come in two configurations; Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD version retailing at RM3,488 and the Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD retailing at RM3,788.
The Surface Laptop Go 2 is available for purchase via commercial authorised reseller, Maxis; and authorised retailers such as All IT, Gloo by SNS Network, Harvey Norman, PC Image, Senheng, and TMT by Thundermatch. Authorised resellers will also be giving away free gifts worth up to RM590 until 31st July 2022, or while stocks last.
