After giving us all a tease a few days ago, OnePlus has finally launched the OnePlus Nord 2T and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite in Malaysia. In addition to the smartphones, OnePlus released two new TWS earbuds with the OnePlus Nord Buds and OnePlus Buds Pro.
OnePlus Nord 2T
The OnePlus Nord 2T features a 6.43-inch Full HD AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and HDR10+ compatibility. Underneath is a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS3.1 storage. The OnePlus Nord 2T is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC rapid charging capabilities.
The OnePlus Nord 2T also has three cameras: a 50MP primary camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor and OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP mono camera. In addition, there is a 32MP selfie camera on the front. The OnePlus Nord 2T also comes with OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12 out of the box.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite features a 6.59-inch Full HD LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It also has a Snapdragon 695 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. A 5,000mAh battery is also housed within, supporting 33W SUPERVOOC rapid charging.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite likewise has a triple camera arrangement consisting of a 64MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. A 16MP selfie camera with EIS is located on the front. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite also has a Dual-View Video feature which allows simultaneous recording using both the rear and front cameras.
OnePlus Buds Pro and OnePlus Nord Buds
The OnePlus Buds Pro is the brand’s first TWS earbuds to feature ANC as well as smart noise reduction system, superior call quality, extended battery performance, and a more personalised sound. The OnePlus Nord Buds, meanwhile, has 12.4 mm titanium dynamic drivers, supports Dolby Atmos and offers 30 hours of combined playback on a single charge.
Price and availability
The OnePlus Nord 2T comes in two configurations; 8GB+128GB in Jade Fog retailing at RM1,899 and 12GB+256GB in Gray Shadow retailing at RM2,099. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, on the other hand, retails at RM1,199 and is available in Blue Tide and Black Dusk colours.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus Buds Pro and the OnePlus Nord Buds will retail at RM799 and RM299 respectively. All of the new OnePlus products can be purchased through OnePlus retail stores, OnePlus authorised dealers and the OnePlus official website, as well as OnePlus flagship stores on Shopee and Lazada starting from 19th July.
