Tune Protect Malaysia has just launched its first Critical Illness Insurance called Critical Safe+. This new and affordable plan is an online Health insurance plan that covers Advanced Stages of Critical Illnesses and features flexible options and a wide range of benefits.
The new Critical Safe+ plan aims to give consumers the option of stacking and customising their health coverage based on their lifestyle needs and budget. Customers can buy from Tune Protect in 3 minutes, receive a response in 3 hours, and have their claims paid in 3 working days.
As part of the launch of Critical Safe+, the company has committed to paying an additional 1% of the sum insured if customers do not receive their claims within 3 working days of the approval date. Tune Protect Malaysia also says that they intend to target the digitally savvy Millennials and Zillennials with this new insurance plan.
What does Critical Safe+ entail?
Critical Safe+ is available in three variants: Top 2, Top 5, and All 39 Critical Illnesses, with sums insured ranging from RM30,000 to RM200,000. Customers can select from these three options based on their coverage requirements and budget. All three plans cover advanced stages of critical illnesses and pay out in full upon diagnosis.
Customers who want to boost their protection can choose from the Top 5 or all 39 critical illness options, which give them the option to add on Early Stage Cover and Diabetic Care Disease with additional premiums to their main plans. Upon diagnosis, Early Stage Cover pays out 50% of the sum insured, while Diabetic Care Disease includes an additional sum insured of up to RM50,000.
The Top 2 option protects customers against Heart Attacks and Cancer; the Top 5 option protects against Heart Attacks, Cancer, Stroke, Serious Coronary Artery Disease, and Kidney Failure; and the All 39 critical illnesses option protects against a broader range of critical illnesses.
Critical Safe+ is now available online through Tune Protect’s website and mobile app on Apple App Store or Google Play Store, with all online purchases receiving a 15% discount. The claiming process is also quick and simple because customers can claim through the same online channels, making the journey simple and convenient. Customers can also opt for monthly premium payments to reduce their financial commitment.
Furthermore, Tune Protect has pledged to donate RM6 for every Critical Safe+ policy sold to Yayasan Chow Kit’s children’s health fund, Madhya’s Gift, which was established by Yayasan Chow Kit to provide healthcare to children from less privileged families who require medical treatment.
Customers who purchase Critical Safe+ will also receive RM50 credit in their e-wallet as part of a special launch campaign that will run until September 30, 2022.
