Xiaomi has announced several new products in Malaysia including the Xiaomi 12 Lite and several new IoT products such as the Xiaomi Smart Doorbell 3, Xiaomi Smart Pet Feeder, Xiaomi Smart Pet Fountain and the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact.

Xiaomi 12 Lite

The Xiaomi 12 Lite has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display that supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and can display 68 billion colours. It also has a screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz for a more seamless experience. The Xiaomi 12 Lite also includes stereo speakers as well as Dolby Atmos spatial audio technology.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite has a triple camera setup, with a 108MP main camera powered by a large HM2 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. There’s also a 32MP selfie camera that features a GD2 sensor and autofocus capabilities.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite is powered by a Snapdragon 778G chipset with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. The Xiaomi 12 Lite’s 4,300mAh battery easily supports a full day of use, and the 67W turbo charging powers up to 100% in 41 minutes.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite also includes Xiaomi AdaptiveCharge, which learns users’ night-time charging patterns in order to optimise charging strategy throughout the night, allowing the device to be fully charged right before the user wakes up.

Xiaomi Smart Doorbell 3

The Xiaomi Smart Doorbell 3 has a camera with sharp 2K clarity and built-in high-powered infrared lights for clear video in the dark. It also has a variety of camera views, including diagonal 180-degree and ultra-wide, as well as advanced AI motion detection.

Aside from the camera, the Xiaomi Smart Doorbell 3 includes a visitor intercom, making it ideal for those who live in apartments or condominiums. This small device is powered by a 5,200mAh built-in battery that can be easily recharged via USB port. It enables longer battery life and longer charging intervals.

Xiaomi Smart Pet Feeder and Xiaomi Smart Pet Fountain

The Xiaomi Smart Pet Feeder has a six-grid dispensing structure, a flexible soft silicone food stirrer, and dispensing blades that have been tested to 10,000 dispensing cycles, ensuring smooth dispensing through a wide channel that effectively prevents blockages. Users simply tap the app to dispense additional food remotely, or set a fixed time and quantity for automatic feeding in the Xiaomi Home/Mi Home app, even when they are away.

The dispenser allows for continuous 24-hour dispensing and sends alerts when food reserves are depleted. It has a large capacity for long-term use and can hold approximately 1.8 kg of dry food, easily meeting the needs of those who are away from home. Furthermore, a triple moisture-proof design keeps the food fresh and safe.

Xiaomi Smart Pet Fountain uses a circular water circuit to provide oxygenated moving water, appealing to the instincts of many household pets. Fine particles, hair, and residual chlorine, including Ca and Mg ions that cause kidney stones, are effectively intercepted and filtered through four stages of efficient deep filtering, ensuring healthy, tasty water that pets will enjoy drinking.

It can also be paired with the Xiaomi Home/Mi Home app, which can send notifications to your phone when it’s time to add water, clean the fountain, or replace the filter.

Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact

Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact has a small footprint that is ideal for use at home or in the office. Through 3-in-1 filtration, it captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, providing thorough purification and effectively eliminating common indoor air pollutants. TÜV Rheinland certified, the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact effectively aids in allergen removal.

Furthermore, it provides real-time air quality monitoring for improved purification, as well as intuitive indoor air-quality data displayed via a four-colour indicator light. Finally, users can change their purification settings with a simple touch of the control buttons or by using the Mi Home App.

Pre-orders for Xiaomi’s new device are open from August 19 to August 26, with buyers receiving an RM100 discount on both variants of the new Xiaomi 12 Lite:
