Team RSG and Team SGD, fresh off their triumph in the Predator League 2022 Malaysia for Dota 2 and PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS respectively are set to move ahead to the country-and-territory Asia Pacific Predator League 2022 in Japan.

They are to be joined by Team Setup and Team SMG, bringing the total of esports representing Malaysia to four. All four teams will stand a chance to bring home a slice of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2022’s USD400,000 prize pool and the coveted APAC Predator League Shield.
Four esports teams set to represent Malaysia in Asia Pacific Predator League 2022
Team RSG, comprised of Wong “mks” Sim An, Ng “xsilearn” Anwei, Lee “X1aOyu” Qian Yu, Trn “xiaobonbon” Hoàng Minh Qu, and Roger Tan “Roddgee” Boon Thye, emerged victorious with a 3-2 victory over Atlantis. Atlantis had lost the upper bracket finals 2-1 to Team RSG but had come back to win the lower bracket finals.
Atlantis played a marathon of 11 back-to-back matches, demonstrating their dedication and perseverance. The shield, however, belongs to Team RSG, which had a superior strategy and play.
Meanwhile, Team SGD’s Anderson “Shen” Chong, Alex Tan “Sophiya” Boon Keung, Wong “Jervis” Jervis, Tan “IAMPETE” Chun Chou, and Lee “DreamsYr” Jing Horng won the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS thanks to their teamwork and accuracy.
Team Setup, consisting of Muhammad Shafiq Ridzuan “Apikk” bin Mohd Azmi, Mohd Fikri bin “Km0N” bin Abd Jalil, Muhammad Asraf “Zosvatek” bin Mohd Malek, and Muhammad Iqmal Hafiz “MalDKendrix” bin Abdullah, will join them in the Grand Finals in Japan. Team Setup also received RM7,500 in cash and Predator Galea 350 gaming headphones.

Team SMG, which includes Yeik ‘MidOne’ Nai Zheng, Kam ‘MooN’ Boon Seng, Daryl ‘iceiceice’ Koh Pei Xiang, Tue ‘ah fu’ Soon Chuan, and Wilson ‘poloson’ Koh Chin Wei, is also competing in Japan under the Malaysian flag. Team SMG will compete in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2022 Grand Finals in Japan. Predator Gaming Malaysia has extended an invitation.
The Asia Pacific Predator League 2022 returns after nearly three years of online tournaments, following several high-profile tournaments in the region. It rekindles the excitement of competing for bragging rights in the same venue.

In the Predator League Malaysia Qualifier 2022, 48 teams signed up for Dota 2 and PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. The Asia Pacific Predator League 2022 Grand Finals will be held in Japan on November 11-13, 2022, with teams from 15 Asian countries and territories battling it out over three days of expected intense play.
