Netflix and Ubisoft have announced during the recent Ubisoft Forward event that they will be partnering up to release three new mobile games based on Ubisoft’s existing properties including Assassin’s Creed. Set to start releasing in 2023, the partnership will also see the release of new Valiant Hearts and Mighty Quest games which will be exclusive to Netflix subscribers all over.
New Assassin’s Creed, Valiant Hearts and Mighty Quest games coming to Netflix
In addition to the brand new Assassin’s Creed mobile game, Netflix is also set to release a new live-action series set in the Assassin’s Creed universe. Not much is known about either project but what we do is that both the new mobile game and live-action series are in active development as of right now.
As for the new Valiant Hearts game. Ubisoft has said that the game will be a sequel to the original puzzle adventure game that came out in 2014. The sequel will feature a new story while retaining “the same DNA” and will be developed by the same core team as the first one. The new Valiant Hearts game is set to release in January 2023.
Following the critically lauded The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, the new The Mighty Quest mobile game is also slated for a 2023 release. Ubisoft says that the new game will draw inspiration from the roguelike genre on top of incorporating the first game’s signature hack-and-slash mechanics.
