Astro has announced the availability of beIN SPORTS CONNECT, iQIYI and TVBAnywhere+ apps on the Astro Ultra Box. Customers can now watch more LIVE global sporting events as well as their favourite Asian entertainment, such as Korean, Chinese, and Hong Kong dramas and movies, as well as local favourites and anime, thanks to the availability of these apps.
Press “Home” on the Astro remote control to access iQIYI, beIN SPORTS CONNECT, or TVBAnywhere+ on the Ultra Box. Select the app you want to use from the “Apps” rail (depending on your Astro Pack). Follow the on-screen instructions to log in with your Astro ID and pair your account with your Ultra Box. Once completed, you’ll have instant access to a library of entertainment containing all of your favourite content.
beIN SPORTS CONNECT
beIN SPORTS CONNECT provides LIVE and on-demand access to major European football leagues such as the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, as well as over 3,000 hours of live tennis including the ATP Cup and Laver Cup.
Customers who have a Sports subscription as part of their Astro TV Pack will be able to access all of the content on beIN SPORTS CONNECT on the TV screen via the Ultra Box or on the mobile app for a ‘on-the-go’ viewing experience beginning immediately.
iQIYI
As the ‘Home for Asian Entertainment,’ iQIYI boasts a stellar line-up of C-dramas such as Love Like the Galaxy, starring popular talents Wu Lei and Zhao Lusi, and iQIYI exclusive local original melodrama Rampas Cintaku starring Fasha Sandra, Afieq Shazwan, and Aidil Aziz; long-running Japanese anime series such as One Piece; and catch up on the best local dramas such as 7 Hari Mencintaiku 3, Kerana Aku Isteri Bidaan and Cukup Derita Itu.

The TVBAnywhere+ app has a large library that includes the most recent drama series, variety shows, evergreen classics, and unlimited TVB originals such as the crime drama Against Darkness, the hilarious variety show Super Trio Returns, the supernatural reality show Ghost Bushwhacker, and Scoop, an infotainment show that discusses current events. Customers can access the app via the Chinese Favourites selection as part of their Astro TV Pack.
