BigPay has made improvements to its recently launched Stashes feature. Stashes, which is available on the BigPay app, is a virtual account that allows users to organise and save money separate from their BigPay spending wallet.
Users can use the Round-Up feature to round up their transactions to the nearest Ringgit, which is then automatically deposited into the Stash, which is separate from their BigPay wallet balance. BigPay users have accumulated over 100,000 Stash and round-up transactions since its initial launch less than a month ago.
So what’s new with BigPay’s Stashes feature?
BigPay users can now create multiple Stashes for different objectives and save customizable goals. Individual Stashes can also be personalised by adding images, descriptions, and rules such as locking their Stash until their savings goal or deadline is met to encourage better saving habits.
Stashes’ enhancements will now allow users to reach their savings goals faster by utilising Turbo Round-ups, which can help users save 2x, 3x, or a fixed amount more per transaction. Users can also set up automatic deposits into their Stash on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
Users will be able to round up DuitNow QR payment transactions towards their Stash in addition to rounding up card payment transactions. Users will also have access to a summary of their financial goals based on factors such as spending habits and stash rules.
That’s not all. BigPay users can stand a chance to win double their Stash amount from 5th September to 2nd October. There will be five lucky winners chosen weekly.
