Sonos have just announced a new wireless subwoofer called the Sub Mini. Its design is based off of Sonos’ other subwoofer, Sub, but in a more compact and cylindrical design.
The Sub Mini features dual custom woofers and advanced processing to produce deep, dynamic low-end with no buzz or rattle. When both woofers are placed inside an acoustically sealed cabinet, they create a force-cancelling effect that neutralises distortion.
The subwoofer also features advanced digital signal processing that improves bass response and reproduces the full-toned low frequencies expected from a much larger subwoofer, allowing paired speakers such as Beam, Ray, One, or One SL to focus on more mid-range and high frequencies for a richer, more powerful sound experience.
Users can also fine-tune the sound of Sonos’ new subwoofer using Trueplay, which detects and adapts the speaker’s sound for reflections off of walls and furniture, providing the best listening experience for their room and setup.
Sonos Sub Mini price and avilability
The Sub Mini retails for RM2,999 and is available in matte black and white. It will be available for purchase starting from 6th October through its official retail partners, Harvey Norman or the official Sonos store on Lazada. Users can also start pre-ordering the subwoofer on the 13th of September at 9PM through the official Sonos website.
