Mark Zuckerberg recently announced through social media that WhatsApp will be rolling out a brand new feature called ‘Call Links’. The new feature is designed to make it easier for users to start or join a call, all with just one tap of a button.
New ‘Call Links’ feature introduced to WhatsApp
Users can create a link for an audio or video call and easily share it with family and friends by tapping the ‘Call Links’ option within the Calls Tab. The new feature will require the most recent version of the app, and the rollout will begin this week. For reference, an image of the feature is attached. Furthermore, WhatsApp has begun testing group video calls for up to 32 people.
