Kingston is showing the “King” in Kingston because they are once again the best-selling brand in terms of SSDs for last year.
Kingston SSD Shipment 2021

Sourcing from market intelligence firm TrendForce, Kingston Technology secured just a little bit more than a quarter all to themselves in terms of how many SSDs have been shipped last year. With a rough estimation in tangible numbers of 127 million, that means number one alone is responsible for around 32 million of them.
To put it into comparison, only by combining what ADATA, Kimtigo, Lexar, and Netac have shipped all together then they are able to surpass Kingston.
Despite the year 2021 still within the COVID-19 pandemic phase, the increased demand for electronic devices particularly laptops has skyrocketed due to the need for Work From Home white collars and students transitioning to online education format. On top of that, the rise of PCIe 4.0 M.2 NVMe drives is sought after by gamers and content creators alike due to the raw performance they offer.
Among all the shipped products, the KC3000 and FURY Renegade SSDs stand out as some of the best ones thanks to the great ratio and balance between their price and transfer speeds. The M.2 2280 form factor made them perfectly compatible with both desktops and laptops too.
