Sony ZV Series has been growing for a while now – so is the market for vlogging which is exciting. That said, in addition to the Sony ZV-1, the Zoom Digital Camera and ZV-E10, the interchangeable Digital Camera. This round, Sony has added another camera to its lineup and it’s the Sony ZV-1F which will be available for RM 2,599 later in December 2022.
Sony ZV-1F Malaysia
As per our review, the Sony ZV-1F – is a fixed lens-based camera which houses a 20mm Vario Tessar T* Zeiss Coating lens with an aperture of f/2.0 – in a 35mm equivalent format. Other than that, the camera uses EIS for stabilization with Face Priority AE and Eye AF. The camera also gets a Vari-angle display with touchscreen operation and the newer menu system which we have seen from other newer Sony cameras.
To make this more of a user-friendly camera towards entry-level users – Sony has added features that help the users to take complete advantage of the camera such as soft skin effect, creative look, self-timer for Video shoots, Shot mark – a newer feature that lets users export very specific clips from their videos to the phone and a slow motion capped at 5x and 60x hyperlapse mode.
There are many features that have been brought over from the Sony ZV-1 such as the 3-capsule microphone, Bokeh Switch, Product Showcase setting, Easy Live streaming and the support for an external grip. What might be limiting in terms of the camera is the imaging aspect of it – where the camera has the ability to shoot 20.1MP pictures but only at Fine with no RAW modes available.
