Xiaomi 13 Malaysia
Xiaomi unveiled its new series flagship for the year a while ago and the Xiaomi 13 Series is making its way to Malaysia. That said, the Xiaomi 13 comes in two different models: a non-pro and a Pro variant. So, let us give you the recap about the phone, the pricing and when it’s available in this article.

Xiaomi 13 and Pro Recap
Both the 13 and the 13 Pro are their flagship smartphones for the year, featuring cutting-edge software and hardware. Most importantly, this is the phone that takes that Leica collaboration to the global scale, unlike the 1” Leica phone we saw from them. That said, both phone runs on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which we have reviewed in other phones.
Xiaomi 13
The smaller 13 uses a 6.3” FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate which supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Under the hood, there’s a fixed 256GB storage and an option between 8 or 12GB RAM. The phone houses a 4500mAh battery with 67W turbocharging wired and 50W wirelessly. The triple camera setup on the back has been co-engineered with Leica to give that colour science. So, you have an Ultrawide, normal and telephoto setup.
Xiaomi 13 Pro
The bigger 13 Pro has a 6.7” WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. Under the hood, once again it has the same configuration as the smaller 13, which is 256GB storage with an option of 8 or 12GB RAM. This phone houses a 4820mAh battery which is definitely not the biggest we have seen in a phone but nonetheless, it does have a faster 120W charging speed wired and 50W wirelessly, if that’s of concern to you. Finally, this is the phone from Xiaomi to have a 1”-inch sensor on the back alongside with the other functional camera setup like a telephoto and an ultrawide for instance.
Pricing and Availability
As for the pricing, here in Malaysia – it’s as follows:
Xiaomi 13 – RM 3699 (256GB+12GB)
Xiaomi 13 Pro – RM 4599 (256GB+12GB)
These are the only two variants that will be made available in Malaysia. There are some pre-order offers like if you happen to pre-order starting 27th February till 7th March 2023, both phones will get a free Mi TV. There’s also an ultimate bundle for the Xiaomi 13 Pro which is priced at RM 5,999, which comprises of 13 Pro (12GB with 512GB Storage), Xiaomi Watch, Buds 4 Pro and a 33W Power Bank (which is actually worth RM 7,496).
