Next@Acer 2023 is where Acer gets to unveil its latest innovations for the year with new products with improved specifications and so much more. We covered and gave our first look at some of the Predator laptops – however, we want to touch base on other devices that they have announced along with it – in a TL; DR way. So, here’s what Acer announced during Next@Acer 2023.

Next@Acer 2023 Announcements

Acer Aspire Vero 15

1/3

The Acer Aspire Vero 15 follows the footprint of the previous Vero laptops we have seen – that is, to be as eco-conscious with the materials it uses. The laptop is recycled from the ground up with good build quality and has the right sustainability thought in mind. That said, the laptop houses a 15.6” Full HD Display in a 16:9 aspect ratio with a 100% sRGB colour gamut. Following that it gets a 13th generation Intel Processor – specifically the Intel Evo Certified ones to give a good experience which we have spoken about. It does have 16GB on-board LPDDR5 RAM and has 2 M.2 slots which support upto 1TB each.

The webcam gets an upgrade to 1440p QHD which isn’t something you see every day. Connectivity wise it does have the right ports – two Thunderbolt™ 4/USB Type-C, two USB3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, DC in, and an audio jack. Finally, it relies on the latest WiFi 6E standards for the internet.

Acer Vero PL3510ATV Projector

The Acer Vero PL3510ATV Projector comes in a Full HD resolution with dynamic 4800 ANSI lumens laser diode, capable of giving a 50,000:1 contrast ratio. The projector does have features like 2D keystone, 4 corner correction technology and lens shift feature as well. The IP5X certification does give the projector, the ability to be used in almost any kind of environment and finally, it has a 10W speaker which is decent enough.

The projector happens to have an included dongle which supports Android TV – this only means one thing, the ability to Chromecast is possible. Since it’s a Vero projector, it is of course manufactured the same way Vero laptops are manufactured.

Acerpure Pro Vero Air Purifier

This is quite literally the first PCR material utilized air purifier we have seen. That said, the Acerpure Pro Vero Air Purifier does come equipped with an Advanced 3-in-1 HEPA filter with an anti-formaldehyde filter that helps in eliminating up to 99% of the PM 2.5 particles and formaldehyde in the air. This time around, they have installed proper sensors to detect the air mode and the condition of the air around the purifier to make sure that it can ramp up and down to purify the air as fast as possible.

It happens to be a Vero Air Purifier, so the carbon dioxide emissions have been decreased by up to 20%, thanks to the PCR materials. The packaging has also been changed for water-based ink and recyclable material – which reduces the carbon footprint further.

Acer TravelMate Series

The Acer TravelMate Series has been a staple for them – where these laptops are aimed towards business users with everything baked right in. This time around while most laptops get the specification upgrade to something better, the laptops are now optimized with Dust Defender technology to enhance performance and have also gone through military-grade durability standards, TCO certification and even EPEAT registrations.

1/3

The Acer TravelMate P6 14 has a 2.8K OLED 16:10 display, powered by Intel vPro processors, 32GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 65Wh fast-charging battery. The Acer TravelMate P4 14 and Spin 14 get the same processor treatment, however, the display is in a 2.2K resolution. The Spin variant comes equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass and is touch-enabled too.

1/3

Finally, the Acer TravelMate P2 14 and 16 – despite the size differences, and the display of course where the 14 is a 14” display and the 16” is a 16” display – also runs the latest 13th generation Intel processors. Both the P4 and P2 – for the first time come with a proper GPU – an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050. While it isn’t the most powerful, it sure is an upgrade from the usual discrete GPUs.
