It goes without saying that the Predator Helios has been a good laptop to begin the gaming journey and since last year, we have seen more and more laptops featuring much more premium hardware. So, it comes off as no surprise that the Predator Helios not only goes big in size but in performance as well – here’s the new Predator Helios 16 and Predator Helios 18.

From the number, you can pretty much tell that the laptop now comes in two sizes or display offerings: 16 and 18-inch displays and both displays are configured in the WQXGA resolution with upto 240Hz refresh rate, 500 peak nit brightness and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Not to forget that these two laptops break the 16:9 barrier and go 16:10 giving more vertical real estate.
Under the hood, aside from the specification upgrade which we will get through in a bit – features a new dual custom-engineered 5th Generation AeroBlade 3D Metal fans and vector heat pipes in the shape of rectangles for better heat dissipation. Now for the specification, both laptops can go up to 13th Generation Intel Core i9 processor with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080. As for the RAM it goes up to 32GB DDR5 and up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD in RAID 0 configuration.
The keyboard has a 1.8mm key travel with the usual N-key rollover and per-key RGB.
Pricing and Availability
Both the laptops will be going on sale starting May 2023 and both Predator Helios 16 and Predator Helios 18 will start from RM 8999 to RM 11,999 for the 16 and RM 9,999 to RM 12,999 for the Helios 18.
