The Acer Swift Edge 16 (SFE16-43) is a new laptop announced by Acer, designed for professionals who require high computing power, productivity, and portability. It features AMD Ryzen 7040 Series processors and AMD Radeon 780M graphics, delivering next-generation performance and visuals. The laptop also incorporates AMD Ryzen AI on select models, allowing it to meet the demands of AI applications.

One of the standout features of the Swift Edge 16 is its 16-inch 3.2K OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support, and 500 nits peak brightness. This display provides vibrant and true-to-life colors, making it ideal for multimedia and creative work. The laptop is also equipped with Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, offering fast wireless connections, and it features Microsoft Pluton and Windows Hello for enhanced security.

In terms of design, the Acer Swift Edge 16 sports an ultra-thin and lightweight magnesium alloy chassis, measuring just 12.95 mm thick and weighing 1.23 kg.

It has a sleek olivine black coating, giving it a stylish look. The laptop offers optimized performance with its AMD Ryzen processors and AMD Radeon graphics, along with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. It incorporates TwinAir cooling technology to maintain optimal performance.

The Swift Edge 16 includes smart features such as a 1440p QHD webcam with automatic framing, gaze correction, and background blur for improved video conferencing experiences.


It also features a full-sized keyboard and various connectivity options, including USB Type-A ports, USB 4 Type-C PD 65 W ports with fast charging and display capabilities, HDMI 2.1, and a Micro SD card reader.
The Acer Swift Edge 16 will be available in North America and EMEA starting in July, with prices starting at USD 1,299.99 and EUR 1,199, respectively.
