With that said, today Acer Malaysia has announced a new Acer Alto Workstation and their new Acer Altos BrainSphere Rack servers for the Malaysian Market.

Acer Altos P130 F9 Workstation is positioned as a high-performance device for more flexibility and handling things under pressure. That said, it is powered by the latest 13th Generation Intel Core Processor with DDR5 ECC memory support. Here’s what makes this system interesting: It supports Intel vPro – so, it’s ready for those enterprise-grade performances and offers security features on a hardware level. As for the GPU, it supports a wide range of NVIDIA GPUs but more importantly, it supports NVIDIA Quadro RTX for tasks that fall under such GPUs.
There’s no need to worry about the storage as the Acer Altos P130 F9 Workstation supports multiple PCIe Gen4 expansion slots and dual PCIe Gen4 M.2 NVMe SSD. Finally, depending on the space you have, you can choose between two different chassis and the best part, it has a user-friendly upgradable design.
Acer Altos BrainSphere Rack Servers
Okay, this particular Acer Altos BrainSphere Rack Servers aren’t for us consumers at all, if that isn’t obvious enough. With that said, the Acer Altos BrainSphere R360 F5 is a two-socket server that supports dual CPUs to keep up with the modern data centers. Under the hood, it’s powered by the 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, with 40 cores and 8 memory channels per socket. It hits upto 270W in the TDP department and 8 channels of memory which can hold 32 DIMM sticks, 3 PCIe devices, and 12 2.5” storages.
On top of this, their AI Development Platform API service agent can help set up and deploy these servers in an AI development environment. GPU-wise, the server can handle one or more, complex computations.
Pricing and Availability
The Acer Altos P130 F9 Workstation starts at RM 4,999 for the i7 and RM 7,199 for the i9. Do remember, these are starting prices and since it’s a business solution, you can customize the order based on your office needs. The Altos BrainSphere R360 F5 starts at RM 21,020 which can be customized as well. If you happen to purchase the Acer Altos devices before 30th September 2023, you get to enjoy an additional 1-year warranty extension, totalling up to 4 years of on-site service and warranty.
