Acer Vero lineup has set the standards for PCR devices where consumers need not compromise on the experience. That said, Acer Malaysia refreshes the Acer Aspire Vero 14 and the Acer Vero CB1 Monitor with newer hardware and improvements.

Acer Aspire Vero 14 Malaysia

The Acer Aspire Vero 14 has increased the percentage of PCR it uses from 30% to 40%, bringing down the CO2 emissions during chassis production. On top of that, the trackpad uses OceanGlass, which is basically recycled Ocean Bound Plastic. The packaging now has 100% recycled paper and 90% recycled cardboard.

Other than that, you get the usual upgrades – a newer 13th generation Intel Core i7 Processor with 512GB SSD and a choice of 8GB or 16GB RAM in the 14” inch laptop.

Acer Vero CB1 Monitor Malaysia

The Acer Vero CB1 Monitor comes in 2 sizes, 23.8” and 27”. However, the 27” variant comes in two resolutions – 1080p and 1440p respectively. All the monitors above are equipped with IPS panels, making them pretty capable for most use-case scenarios with no limitations. What makes this monitor interesting is the availability of a USB-C Port capable of PD of upto 65W. It does have other ports like HDMI and DisplayPort.

These monitors use 100% recyclable green packaging and they have adopted 85% PCR plastic and 5% OBP (Ocean Bound Plastic) to have a better impact on a better environment.

Pricing and Availability

The Acer Vero CB1 Monitor starts at RM 699 for the 23.8”, RM 799 for the 27” 1080p and RM 999 for the 27” 1440p respectively. The Acer Aspire Vero 14 starts from RM 2,599. That said, just like their other Vero devices, it keeps on the ritual of where you can trade-in and get a discount of RM 500 on your new Vero Laptop purchase.
