AcerPure has definitely made an impact among many consumers wanting to own a home IoT product – like take their Air Purifier for instance, making some great strides. But they are not stopping there because the AcerPure Aqua WP1 Water Purifier uses a triple filter system and makes things a whole lot easier to maintain than a conventional water purifier.

Computex 2023 AcerPure Aqua WP1

 AcerPure Aqua WP1

The AcerPure Aqua WP1 happens to be pretty interesting given how much technology it has been going for and especially coming from a company that is literally venturing out into products like these for the very first time. Now, since it’s a water purifier, it does what it should do – that is to purify the water. But it doesn’t end there.

Under the hood, you will notice that the AcerPure Aqua WP1 has a 3-step filtration system: starting with a Polypropylene and Carbon Block Composite Filter, followed by Reverse Osmosis Membrane Filter and finally a Granular Activated Carbon filter. If you are wondering if it’s hard to replace, it isn’t as it is as easy as popping the shell on top, popping the filter out and replacing it easily. It claims to clean the water with more than 99.9% bacteria, heavy metals and 96.3% residual chlorine.

There’s another thing the AcerPure Aqua WP1 does – the water it dispenses isn’t just normal water but it is Hydrogen Water. Basically, it has more Hydrogen molecules in the water. It is FDA-approved and there are very few studies however promising results, that point towards giving anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The machine has a TDS Quality Monitor which detects the water quality – and should you run into a high-level TDS, with one click of the smart wash button, you can clean the filters and pipelines.

Everything else is controlled via the touch control that you can see on the front of the Water Purifier. If you do look at the technology it uses to purify water, it is definitely isn’t going to be very affordable but I do hope it is priced competitively among the existing contenders like Cuckoo or Coway which doesn’t quite offer similar tech if we were to go based on the NTD Pricing.

AcerPure Aqua WP1 Coming to Malaysia

At the moment this is all we know about the AcerPure Aqua WP1 and we were told that it’s heading to Malaysia sooner than we speak, so, stay tuned as it makes its appearance in Malaysia very soon.

My guess for this would be priced anywhere from RM 2500-3500 given that the LG TankLess is priced around the same – but that’s just my hunch. In fact, the Taiwan price ranges from NTD$13,800 for early birds and NTD$24,800 for the normal price.
