With so many Redmi Note launches later, Xiaomi Malaysia finally realizes that they have not announced a new Redmi 12 in Malaysia. So, we finally get one. Just like any other smartphone, we have two variants – however, you can get the base variant at RM 499 but you got to act fast.
Redmi 12 Malaysia
The Redmi 12 is a very entry-level smartphone with specs that do put it in that exact category: 6.79” FHD+ Display with 90Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Helio G88 Processor with expandable storage, 5000mAh battery, 50MP Main camera, 8MP Ultrawide Camera and a 2MP Macro Camera. Finally, it comes in two variants: 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage or 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Now, these are pretty impressive for an entry-level smartphone.
Redmi 12 Malaysia Price
Now, the 4GB with 128GB storage variant is going for RM 599 whereas the doubled-up variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is going for RM 699 – and that’s kind of entering the Redmi Note 12 territory. But that said, the base variant is going for RM 499 which is RM 100 less than the SRP, only on the 15th July, 2023 with limited stocks available not just through Authorized stores but also via Lazada and Shopee.
So, you will have to act fast to get the RM 499 deal which is quite the catch because we don’t know how many units really will be available at that price. Granted Xiaomi Malaysia did say it’s a “while stocks last” pricing – and for all we know, it could be just for the first 10 units. That said, make sure to top up your ShopeePay to get the phone in a snap.
