Earlier in February 2023, we had the chance to take a closer look at some of the upcoming laptops to be made available for 2023 from ASUS arsenal. That said, the ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 OLED is a pretty impressive laptop for those who want a more affordable version of the ProArt StudioBook – which I personally am a huge fan of. You can read our first-look article here. But that said, now that the ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 OLED is finally in Malaysia, here’s what you get for the cool RM 10,999 price tag.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 OLED, specifically the UX6404 is powered by the Intel Core i9 processor, the 13^th Generation 13900H to be specific which has the power a creator would need. Coupled with that, we get 32GB DDR5 RAM (2x16GB Configuration) with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 under the hood and not to forget, a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. The performance of this laptop should suffice for any creator looking for that “powerhouse” of a laptop.

As for the display, we get a 14.5” 16:10 3K OLED display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio and hits a nice 550-nit peak brightness and 100% DCI-P3 colour Gamut. All this goodness in just under 1.65kg is absolutely amazing. The I/O of this laptop is a lot better equipped than the previous generation as we mentioned in our first look – we get a proper full-size SD Card reader, 2x Thunderbolt 4 Ports, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, Combo Audio Jack and a DC in port.

One of my favourite ProArt Studiobook features makes its way to this laptop and that’s the ASUS Dial, a controller that allows you to control all the necessary toolkits required in your editing suite (any of the Adobe offerings). This can also be customized with the help of the app installed on the laptop.
