Last year we reviewed the OnePlus 11 and we did say that it’s going back to its roots in more ways than one. In fact, we personally enjoyed it – which you can read about it here. With the successor now announced globally, it’s time to get your wallets ready as the OnePlus 12 is going on Sale in Malaysia this 3rd February.
OnePlus 12 Malaysia
To quickly summarize, the OnePlus 12 is the successor to the 11 which came out last year. Now, we all know that the name ending with the number is their flagship for the year and the 12 does come packed with some amazing treats for users to enjoy.
It comes as no surprise that the OnePlus 12 is here to offer a flagship experience and starting with that, it comes equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage for the Malaysian market. That said, this time around OnePlus has something called the Trinity Engine which keeps applications available in the background for up to 72 hours. The phone touts the new Dual Cryo-Velocity VC Cooling System to bring the heat down by dissipating and managing very well.
Features a 5400mAh battery under the hood which can last for a day or two, comes supported with 100W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition via wired and finally the 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging makes its way back to their OnePlus phones. On the front, it features a 2K 120HZ display by BOE and it’s the same size as the OnePlus 11. With LTPO it should bring better battery life on top of the other features like Intelligent Eye Care and so on.
And finally, the camera gets a new improvement – featuring the 3rd generation Hasselblad magic with a triple camera setup – one of it featuring the first 50MP Sony LYT-808 Wide Angle camera with an aperture of f/1.6, followed by a 3x Periscope sensor with 6x in-sensor zoom, 48MP Ultra-wide sensor with 114-degree field of view. All this with their new software enchancements, should deliver a better imaging experience.
OnePlus 12 Malaysia Price
At the time of writing, OnePlus Malaysia confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will be available starting from 3rd February 2024, and will retail for RM 4599 and only in one variant: 16GB + 512GB storage, which is more than enough for many users.
