Right on time, the long wait for the Apple Macbook Air to get the processor refresh has finally happened. Say hello to the Apple MacBook Air M3 Silicon version which comes in two different sizes. Although there aren’t many huge changes, the processor upgrade alone justifies the improvement in performance by a lot.

While there isn’t much of a big difference between the Apple MacBook Air M3 and M2 when you look at it, one of the biggest improvements happens to be the processor itself. Apple Silicon M3, which was announced back in November 2023 – has some serious firepower, offering a 60% increase in performance and thanks to the new processor, you can connect upto 2 displays, externally with the lid closed.

As for the rest, you still get the MagSafe 3 Charging Port with 3 Thunderbolt/USB4 ports, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Force Touch Trackpad. Both the 13.6” and 15.3” Liquid Retina Display with True Tone are pretty much the same spec as the predecessor and on the top you do have a 1080p FaceTime HD Camera. Finally, the 10-core GPU version uses a 35W Dual USB-C Power Adapter whereas the 8-core GPU uses a 30W adapter instead.
