HONOR Magic6 Pro Malaysia Launch is Imminent; Interesting Improvements to be Expected

HONOR has been making some significant mark in Malaysia with their recent product offerings, and its no surprise that the HONOR Magic6 Pro is about to make its way to Malaysia soon. That said, here’s what we know about the phone so far and what you could expect from the HONOR Magic6 Pro Malaysia Launch.

HONOR Magic6 Pro

The new flagship, HONOR Magic6 Pro comes with some impressive improvements on paper, that has the potential to entice many consumers out there. That said, the phone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It houses an OLED display at 6.8” with FHD+ resolution. And of course, it runs the new MagicOS 8 which is based on Android 14 and you do get all that GMS goodness. As for the battery it has 5600mAh which can be charged super fast with the 80W SuperCharge via wired or with the Wireless SuperCharge rated at 66W.

Other than that, what makes the HONOR Magic6 Pro interesting is their take on hardware which they have included with the phone. And that begins with their triple camera setup: a 180MP Periscope Camera with an aperture of f/2.6 and OIS which supports upto 100x zoom, a 50MP Ultra Wide Camera with f/2.0 and the primary 50MP “HONOR Falcon Camera” which has variable aperture from f/1.4 to f/2.0.

Following that it comes with two specific chips: the HONOR C1+ for better connectivity and reception with your provider and the S1 which is their security chip which features the dual-TEE for better protection and privacy against data tampering. There are some software improvements with MagicOS to take advantage of this hardware.
