While the smartphone market is extremely saturated and consumers are pretty much spoiled for choice, the Tablet market lacks a lot of Android options. That said, HONOR Pad 9 makes its way into Malaysia as a mid-tier tablet for those who want one for a “daily use case” situation.
HONOR Pad 9 Malaysia
Earlier in March, HONOR announced the new tablet along with the HONOR Magic 6 Pro. Powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, which was seen in the HONOR X9b, with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage – it looks pretty capable for daily consumption of content, social media and a little bit of work. On the front, there’s a 12.1” 2560×1600 display with 120Hz refresh rate and an 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture for calls and so on.
On the back, it touts a 13MP f/2.0 camera – a single shooter which should be more than enough for snapping documents and maybe if you want to shoot memories with it. You can do all of this with the HONOR Pad 9 with the 8300mAh battery which can be charged with the included 35W SuperCharge.
HONOR isn’t planning to stop there as they are offering the full experience by including an HONOR Pad 9 Smart Bluetooth Keyboard and HONOR CHOICE Pencil for those who want to get some productivity centric tasks done in a jiffy.
HONOR Pad 9 Malaysia Pricing and Availability
The HONOR Pad 9 comes in two configurations: a WiFi variant which will be available in two colours – Cyan Lake and Space Grey and the 5G Variant which will only come in a Space Grey Colour. Both the HONOR Pad 9 will be price as follows:
- WiFi Variant: RM 1,499
- 5G Variant: RM 1,799
