Despite Samsung reigning it’s territory in the Smartphone segments, most consumers would know them for their other appliances too and one of it being: their TVs. Earlier this year, the brand went on to launch their new “AI” TV lineup globally and now, the Samsung AI TV lineup is available in Malaysia.

Samsung AI TV Lineup

Samsung is no stranger to using the “AI” term a lot, and it’s something you might have to take it a pinch of salt. What makes the whole Samsung AI TV what they are being called is the new Samsung NQ8 AI Gen3 Processor – which is the one that does all the work in optimizing and switching between certain settings rather seamlessly. The new processor offers 2x faster NPU, 2.2x faster GPU and 30% faster CPU as compared to the older NQ4 AI Gen 2 Processor.

There are a total of 8 different features that makes Samsung AI TV what it is: You have 8K AI Upscaling Pro, AI Motion Enhancer Pro, Real Depth Enhancer Pro, Active Voice Amplifier Pro, Object Tracking Sound Pro, Adaptive Sound Pro, AI Auto Game Mode and AI Energy Mode. Now these are features that we have seen before, however, it claims to  perform better than the older generation.

One of the other technology you will see in their QLED TV is the Quantum Matrix Technology Pro, where it uses 10x more lighting zones since its now an 8K TV instead of the traditional 4K TV. As for the rest, since it’s a Samsung TV, you do get the experience that they are known for – and if you happen to own a Samsung Ecosystem then, this TV will blend in very well.

The two key TVs that will be available as a part of the “Samsung AI TV” are the QN900D and the QN800D where the 800 uses the Gen2 Processor. The pricing for the QN800D series starts from RM 23,249 and the 900D starts at RM 28,749 onwards – and that’s because the TV comes in there different sizes: 65’, 75’ and 85.

Both the TVs are now available for sale through Samsung Malaysia.
