POCO M6 makes its way into Malaysia for RM 539. Even though it shares many similarities with the Redmi 13, POCO exists as a separate entity under the Xiaomi company. That said, here’s what you get for RM 100 less.
POCO M6

For one, the POCO M6 is a mid-tier smartphone with proper specifications that make sense of the tiering. You get a 6.79” 90Hz FHD+ Wet Touch Display with proper premium glass on the front and back, followed by a 5030mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging and is powered by Mediatek Helio G91-Ultra coupled with 8GB RAM. Not to forget, on the back, you have a dual-camera setup with the primary shooter comprising a 108MP sensor at f/1.75 and a secondary 2MP Macro Camera which you can practically forget about.

On the front, you have a decent 13MP selfie shooter for those moments with your friends, family and so on. While there isn’t much to rave about the POCO M6, it would be the phone to go for if you are looking for a smartphone that hits a “jack of all trades” type of situation. What’s more interesting is that it has an IR Blaster and you don’t have to rely on the USB-C jack for audio as it has a dedicated Headphone Jack on the top for that uninterrupted audio experience.
You do have support for NFC and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor – so, you can set up your Google Pay and use your POCO M6 for payments at supported terminals.
Price and Availability
The POCO M6 will be available in two different configurations – 6GB RAM with 128GB storage will go for RM 699 and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage will be priced at RM 799. However, from the 13th till the 19th of June, both variants can be obtained for RM 539 and RM 639 – exclusively through their online stores.
