It’s no surprise that Samsung markets their Galaxy S24 Ultra as a concert companion – so much so that, we see posts online where they rent the Ultra for concertgoers to get the best content possible. So, what we did was, pass the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra to our friend who went for SHINee Concert in March and here’s how that went.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Camera Concert Experience

So, rather than me explaining about it. I’ll let my friend take over this content and let her share her thoughts. Valerie, take it away.

Her Experience

The Ultra’s camera is a game-changer for concert, especially for someone like me with limited knowledge of photography and videography. Despite my shaky hands, I could capture stunningly clear videos, even amidst the chaos of a concert.

  • So, how was the experience shooting with the phone?

The camera experience was a delight from start to finish. Its user-friendly interface made navigation a breeze, allowing me to focus on capturing the moment rather than fumbling with settings. Despite my usual struggles with blurry photos and videos due to my shaky hands, the stabilization technology ensured that my footage remained steady, even amidst the excitement of the concert.

  •  What are the challenges you had with the phone?

While the camera performed admirably in low-light conditions, I did notice some shakiness when using the 10x and 20x zoom options. I mostly stuck to the 5x zoom, which provided satisfactory results, I was also lucky because I had a good seat at the concert. The experience of taking photos while recording video left something to be desired.

Midway through the concert, I decided to switch to a different format, recognizing the superior quality offered by HEIC. However, upon viewing and editing these videos on my previous phone, I encountered compatibility issues. This was a frustrating setback that detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

  • Coming from a mid-tier phone, what’s your personal take on the phone?

As someone accustomed to a mid-tier phone, the allure of the camera was undeniable. However, after using it for just a week, I found myself hesitant to make the switch permanently. While I enjoyed the camera experience and overall phone performance, it felt strikingly similar to my current device.

In the long run, the improved performance and camera capabilities might be enticing, but for now, I’m content sticking with my current phone for day-to-day use.

  • Did it really give you the best concert experience in a way that when you look back at the content you took, it created better memories for you?

Despite its minor shortcomings, it undeniably enhanced my concert experience. The memories captured were vivid and immersive, evoking a sense of nostalgia whenever I look back at the content. While it may not be the perfect phone for everyone, for moments like these, the camera is certainly the highlight.
